Vienna Pride & Rainbow Parade
The Vienna Pride takes place from 11 to 16 June 2013:. The Pride Village will be built this year on Heroes’ Square. The highlight is the rainbow parade on the Ringstrasse 15 June.
Highlight of the Vienna Pride is the Rainbow Parade on Saturday 15 June 2013. On tractor trailers, motorcycles, in a carriage or on foot: gays, lesbians, drag queens, Leather Boys, and many more transgender people celebrate at the rainbow parade themselves and make a stand against discrimination. The Ringstrasse is therefore closed to traffic. The Rainbow Parade draws from 14 clock from Heroes’ Square to the direction of travel around the entire ring (start and end: Heldenplatz) (!). More than 100,000 visitors are expected.
