The time allocated wasn’t nearly enough, as there was so much to discuss: from preparations for Warsaw (how can we raise our profile? We will have different flyers and a presentation on cash money), to ideas for the UN Convention on the Rights of Older Adults, and the paper on ageism from Romania (we’re planning a webinar on intersectional ageism). Our Friendship Bench campaign will be launched on 1 October. And there were reports on the elections in Sweden and Germany, with a particular focus on the rise of right-wing parties. It was great to have interested guests from Portugal, Germany and Sweden joining us.
